Plains Camp @ Rhino Walking Safaris is an intimate trails camp in the heart of South Africa’s legendary Kruger National Park. We are privileged to exclusively explore a 12 000 hectare private concession on foot in ‘Big 5 territory’ that was not previously open to the public. Experience Africa’s wildlife – its sights, sounds, scents and textures on foot or spend a night under the stars at our Sleep-Out decks and immerse yourself in nature.

Swim with wild bottlenose dolphins in clear warm water on our ocean safaris. Scuba dive one of the most diverse reefs in the world with no other boats or divers in sight. This is a protected sanctuary in a world heritage sight, where we can experience the animals in their natural surroundings.
- Learn to Scuba dive with your private SDK Expeditions instructor or try some surfing, kitesurfing , wing-foil or Stand up paddleboarding all with your private instructor.

South Africa

From Johannesburg South Africa we take a short 1 hour flight to Skukuza Aiport in the Kruger National Park located . You will meet your private SDK Expeditions Guide and drive in our private Fully Equipped vehicle to the Rhino Safari lodge for 3 nights.

We then fly from Skukuza to either Richards Bay ( 1 hour) South Africa and stay at Thonga Beach Lodge for 5 nights or fly to Maputo Mozambique (1 hour flight).

Swim with dolphins, Scuba dive one of the most diverse and rich dive sites in the world. ( We are in a World Heritage site and UNESCO protected area here)Surfing, kitesurfing and Wing foil is all possible from this beautiful beach and bay.

We then have a 1 hour drive to Richards Bay airport for your journey home to begin, packed full of great African Memories

We then fly 1 hour to Maputo Mozambique and have a 1 hour transfer to our location. Here we stay in a private house on the beach, with a private chef for 5 nights. Swim with dolphins, Scuba dive one of the most diverse and rich dive sites in the world. Surfing, kitesurfing and Wing foil is Excellent from here. The best wave in Mozambique is here, a very long righthander only 5 minutes walk up the beach from your villa.
